Astronomer 04:00
Head in the grass. Eyeshot looking past the timberline
Peel off the rind. Begin to feel something real
Sky, it’s so vast. Future and the past are intertwined, caught in a bind, fraying and unwoven. Hands are frozen All at once, inhibitions come undone I can breathe out here. The mountain air fills my lungs Wait, what is that? It interrupts my path Chills down my spine. I can't define what it is I see But I hear it coming… Like a sea of sound, crashing waves displace the ground All is swept away. Only echoes still resound A burst of light cutting through the veil of night Exposure of the sun. The world I’ve known comes undone

Webs 02:35
I hear you getting close, pulled from the comatose Try to catch me while I’m down. Closed circuit losing ground You play the part naive, expecting I’ll believe
this cat and mouse routine- A thinly veiled ending
There’s no resistance now and I can’t climb out It’s all just giving in, again and again

Webs, caught like a common fly cursed by the compound eye A kaleidoscopic view. Couldn’t find a clear way through Dead, playing my own part now. Maybe it all works out A method actor’s dream. Blend to an endless scene

Waves 03:13
Stuck in a dead end, a massive ocean on all sides Life on the fault line, waves breaking headlines join the tides We just can’t accept what is now expected The eyes of a tourist reflect the purest point of view But, when you’ve lived here, the mist will not clear out for you

If and when in doubt, throw the whole thing out Watching it all crumbling down. Trying to feel, but still haven’t found anything that can make a difference to me Just got to get out, but I have doubts they’ll let us through

Armed and defensive, so what’s the sense in trying to?
4.
Grip 07:08
Wait a minute. You’re moving too fast Take a breath in, it might be your last The puzzle won’t fit. You force it in place
Gotta have your way or nothing else
You fucked up the script, rewrote the play, and burned down the stage Go ahead, attempt to control Give, you’ll give and you’ll break
Or eat yourself whole Let loose on your reigns They’re tethered to the chains that hold you down, but prevent you from floating away Trying not to slip, bound to lose your grip
5.
Launch 04:18
Draw a map to a foreign place Take the pen, run it off the page Strap me up to a rocket. Oh, the shit’s piled high What’s the point in living, when all you do is die? Aim to achieve some sense of relief Oh, who are you kidding?
You talk in your sleep, and while talking is cheap, it doesn’t make any sense Carry me off into the abyss Set a course, hit or miss I don’t care either way, I’m not shooting for bliss There just has to be some way to get out of this Will you lay out crumbs to find your way home?
Will there be peace in the silence once you are alone?
The words you’re chewing, they taste like the lies that make up the mountain you claim to despise How to erase all the things that you hate, when you’re one of them? Screaming for change, but behaving the same, won’t solve your problems Take it down, hold on steady Gravity pulls so heavy Can’t seem to move, keep on descending to the bitter end or sweet beginning
6.
Timelapse 04:56
Perfect contrast in this time lapse Saving this time, waving goodbye Pulled from both sides, hold on good times And still, thoughts stray: What I’ve built will wash completely away We can’t hold on to these memories Days spent, nights with a friend who won’t remember them
